Introduction to Australian Wine | Richard Betts & Carla Rzeszewski

This class is taught by the incomparable leaders of our wine program, Richard and Carla. Richard, a Master Sommelier, was the ninth person to pass the Court of Master Sommeliers’ Masters Exam on the first attempt. He co-founded his own wine label Betts & Scholl in 2003 and co-founded both Scarpetta Wines and “Cc;” Wines.

Carla is the former Wine Director for April Bloomfield’s The Spotted Pig, The Breslin and The John Dory Oyster Bar in New York City. She is now a co-founder of An Approach To Relaxation, a project making wine with her partner Richard Betts. Carla has been regularly featured in The Wall Street Journal, Wine Enthusiast, and the New York Times amongst others.
